Crossroad Trail – another kind of music…
Some time ago, Nienke and Jan-Willem decided it was time to start a new band. After years of playing with Mississippi Mud Pie, a new style and direction was needed. They decided to call some old friends, and Crossroad Trail was born. The goal is to create and record own songs.

Not blues, not rock, not pop. What is it…?
Crossroad Trail is a Dutch band. Often cited as a blues rock band, but Crossroad Trail features and draws from multiple genres, including rock, blues and pop. The basis is formed on a solid rhythm section with bass and drums. On top of that, 2 fabulous guitars. Add catchy vocals with strong lyrics. And to finalize the mix: keys with piano’s and Hammond.

Since the start, Crossroad Trail worked hard on creating their own songs. After months of hard work, the first album ‘Bad News’ was presented live in poppodium P60, Amstelveen (NL).
